I’m kicking myself for not blogging these beautiful DC engagement photos sooner! In the chaos of fall wedding season, I occasionally get behind in blogging and just realized today that I never shared Travis and Lauren’s stunning Lincoln Memorial engagement shoot with you. The plan had been to meet at the Jefferson Memorial and spend the majority of our time there, but unfortunately we arrived to discover the entire building under scaffolding! Apparently they had just started construction a week prior. We were pretty disappointed but decided to make the most of it and ended up incorporating so many gorgeous spots into our shoot that it was still totally worth the drive. Lauren and Travis are so cute together and I really enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know them better throughout their DC engagement shoot.

After spending a few minutes taking Jefferson Memorial engagement photos, we decided to walk along the tidal basin so we could capture the fall leaves in all of their glory.

If you ever want pictures with beautiful DC columns and no crowds, I highly recommend the DC War Memorial. We had it all to ourselves which means no Photoshop for me and no awkward onlookers for Lauren and Travis.

I just love the gorgeous architecture of the Lincoln Memorial.

Congratulations Lauren and Travis! I had so much fun during your DC engagement photos and can’t wait until your fall wedding. No matter what Covid throws at us, I know it’s going to be amazing!
